Education for Life!

Please be aware that if you are planning to register your child for a Youth Programs class, the following courses are very popular and have long waitlists: Epic Tech Institute, Vet Med (both sessions), Off the Eaten Path, and Kids in the Kitchen. We suggest you select an alternative for any of those classes, since the chance of a slot opening up is very slim.

SOU's Outreach & Engagement Programs delivers a wide range of classes to keep you learning and growing - whether purely for fun or for professional development.  We offer learning for the pleasure of discovery and growth, in the company of talented instructors and curious fellow students who are always ready to explore a new horizon without the pressure of grades.  Click on the Browse button to the left for a full list of classes.

Business/Career and Community Classes - We offer a few Professional Development classes and Performing Arts classes periodically so click on the Browse button to see what is available. For more information visit our Community Programs site.

Online Classes - World Education.net offers a variety of open-ended, career training, professional development and alternate language classes geared for working adults, and may be accessed from the Browse button to the left.

Pre-College & Youth Programs - Stretch the mind, expand horizons, and open the door to a world of possibilities for students K-12. When registering please be sure to use your child's name unless you set up a household account.  To learn about our summer camps, academic competitions and high school college credit programs, visit the Pre College Youth Programs website.

Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) – With 50+ classes each term, these member-taught classes are an exceptional deal. For the current listing of classes and registration information, visit the OLLI home page.
