Education for Life!


SOU's Outreach & Engagement Programs delivers a wide range of classes and events to connect University resources to community needs - whether professional development or purely for the fun of it! Click on the Browse button to the left for a full list of classes. 

After School Enrichment Partnership (ASEP) Program - Hour-long enrichment classes at Helman, Bellview, and Walker schools, limited to 3rd-5th grades. When registering please be sure to use your child's name, who should be part of your household account profile. Use the red "Browse" drop down menu to find a listing of the classes offered at each school.

Business/Career - Professional Development workshops and events address the skills regional employers have identified as important in their hiring and promotion. For more information visit our Professional Development web page. Online Classes (menu to the left) may also offer the flexibility you need.

Community Classes & Events - SOU offers a wide range of ever-changing (and fun!) ways to participate in University life. Check out the University calendar and links to other opportunities at our Community Programs web site, and browse the Online Classes listed here (menu to the left).

Pre-College & Youth Programs - Stretch the mind, expand horizons, and open the door to a world of possibilities for students K-12. When registering please be sure to use your child's name, who should be part of your household account profile.  To learn about our summer camps, academic competitions and high school college credit programs, visit the Pre College Youth Programs website.
Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) – With 50+ classes each term, these member-taught classes are an exceptional deal. For the current listing of classes and registration information, visit the OLLI home page.

WLCofSO Micro Events  - Women’s Leadership Conference of Southern Oregon (WLCofSO) provides valuable mini workshops throughout the year, in addition to our annual one-day conference, to support the advancement of local leadership and provide networking opportunities. Members of our Rogue Valley community share their expertise at our WLCofSO Micro Events through engaging panel discussions, speaker presentations, and inspirational story-telling.
