Divorce & Family Mediation
An advanced mediation course that examines family mediation theory and process, different approaches used by experienced mediators, the effects of divorce on children, mediating with high conflict families and grandparents and how to work within the context of the court and the private sector. Learn to apply advanced communication skills and to screen for domestic violence and child abuse. Apply your skills to document parenting plans, custody agreements and gain a basic understanding of family finances and child support.
